I am passionate about birds.  This project is in part a record of the birds I have seen, organized by family and species.  It is honestly more of an educational tool for my own benefit, an attempt to try and keep straight what is what.  And while I’ve had a lot of help along the way in identifying these birds , I am sure that there must be inaccuracies. Where those exist I accept full blame. I’d would appreciate any corrections you would like to share with me. Is every image a great image? Nah, not by a long shot. This is a work-in-progress: so far, 110 families, 678 species and over 5,000 images  . . .
