LIMITED EDITION PRINT - In early August, large numbers of brown (grizzly) bears congregate to fish along the confluence of two streams in Alaska's Katmai National Park during the annual run of Sockeye Salmon. It is a critical time for the bears, as they are bulking up in preparation for their upcoming winter hibernation. Though only a few yards away from me, this male has only one thought in mind: chasing down the sockeye salmon that are making their run upstream to spawn. The salmon run only lasts for a couple of weeks, so the time is now.

These are LIMITED EDITION prints, and are available either framed or unframed. The edition runs are:

8" x 10" - 100 prints
12" x 15" - 50 prints
16" x 20" - 30 prints
20" x 25" - 20 prints
22" x 27.5" - 20 prints

The print size purchased will be the actual size of the image. This print will be hand printed on Canson Infinity Plantine Fibre Rag using archival pigment based inks, with a one inch white border on each edge. I will sign, date and number each print in the white border of the print. All prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

For prints ordered with frames, I use a 3/4" x 3/4" natural maple frame, a Bainbridge 4-ply Polar White archival mat, and an Acrylite UV inhibitive, non-glare plexiglass. The mat borders range from 2" to 3" depending on the size of the print. Framed prints are also signed, dated and numbered on the mat. Approximate outside frame dimensions are:

8" x 10" - (13" x 15")
12" x 15" - (19" x 22")
16" x 20" - (23" x 27")
20" x 25" - (27" x 32")
22" x 27.5" - (29" x 34.5")
